The Ministry of Media has launch the second edition of the “Global Harmony” initiative on Sunday, as part of its efforts to promote cultural diversity, coexistence, and quality of life in line with the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030.
The initiative, titled “Global Harmony 2,” is organized under the Quality of Life Program and aims to celebrate the lives of residents in the Kingdom — showcasing their professional and family lives, social and recreational activities, and contributions to Saudi Arabia’s growing economy. It also highlights their successful integration and harmony within Saudi society and the government’s commitment to enhancing the quality of life in Saudi cities.
As part of the launch, the Ministry of Media will collaborate with the General Entertainment Authority (GEA) to host events under the Riyadh Season, beginning Sunday with a celebration dedicated to residents of Indian nationality. The festivities will include cultural, artistic, and folkloric performances, featuring the participation of leading Indian media outlets.
The broader “Global Harmony” initiative will spotlight 14 diverse cultures, representing India, the Philippines, Indonesia, Egypt, Pakistan, Yemen, Sudan, Jordan, Lebanon, Syria, Palestine, Bangladesh, Uganda, and Ethiopia.
Through concerts, traveling performances, family-friendly cultural and entertainment activities, traditional cuisines, and handicrafts, the events aim to foster deeper social connections among residents of different nationalities. The gatherings will also be attended by citizens, expatriates, and international media representatives, reflecting Saudi Arabia’s growing role as a center for cultural exchange and global dialogue.
The Ministry of Media, in partnership with GEA and the Quality of Life Program, emphasized that “Global Harmony 2” reflects the Kingdom’s vision of promoting cultural diversity, tolerance, and shared prosperity — key pillars of Vision 2030’s social transformation goals.
