On the sidelines of the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations, Morocco is hosting the Africa Sports Expo in Casablanca from December 18 to 20, providing a major platform for international sports goods manufacturers and exporters.

Around a dozen Pakistani sports goods exporters are participating in the exhibition, showcasing a wide range of products including footballs, boxing equipment, sportswear, hand gloves, and other related sporting items. The participation reflects Pakistan’s strong manufacturing base and its growing outreach to African markets.

Pakistan’s Ambassador to Morocco, Syed Adil Gilani, visited the exhibition venue where Pakistani companies have set up their stalls. During his visit, the ambassador interacted with exhibitors and highlighted Pakistan’s capabilities in sports goods manufacturing, underscoring the country’s established presence in the international sports industry.

The Africa Sports Expo is attracting buyers, distributors, and industry stakeholders from across Africa and beyond, offering Pakistani exporters an opportunity to explore new business partnerships and expand their footprint in emerging markets. The event is also helping strengthen trade and commercial ties between Pakistan and African countries.

Pakistan is internationally known for producing high-quality sports goods, particularly footballs and other sports equipment, with exports reaching Europe, the Middle East, and other global markets. Participation in the Africa Sports Expo is part of broader efforts to diversify export destinations and promote Pakistani products in Africa’s expanding sports sector.
