The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) has distributed 79 cartons of dates among Afghan returnees from Pakistan and Iran at a refugee camp in Kabul Province, benefiting 474 individuals representing 79 families as part of its Ramadan relief efforts.

According to details, the distribution took place at a camp hosting Afghan nationals who recently returned to their home country. The assistance is part of KSrelief’s 2026 project aimed at distributing 300 tons of dates to the Afghan people.

Officials said the initiative is designed to support vulnerable families, particularly during the holy month of Ramadan, when food assistance becomes even more critical for low-income and displaced communities.

A total of 474 individuals benefited from the latest distribution drive, with each of the 79 families receiving cartons of dates to help meet their nutritional needs.

The aid forms part of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s broader humanitarian outreach, carried out through KSrelief, to support the Afghan people and help ease their hardships amid ongoing economic and social challenges.
