Dr. Tazeem Hussain, Regional Director of the College of Physicians and Surgeons Pakistan (CPSP), attended the 58th Convocation Ceremony held at the Jinnah Convention Center, Islamabad.
He extended his heartfelt congratulations to CPSP on organizing this landmark event and expressed gratitude to Prof. Dr. Khalid M. Gondal, President CPSP, Prof. Shoaib Shafi, Senior Vice President, the Council members, and the organizing committee for hosting an impressive ceremony.
He appreciated the presence of the Chief Guests, Lieutenant General (R) Nigar Johar Khan, and Guest of Honour Senator Amir Waliuddin Chishti, stating that their participation underscored the significance of strong higher medical education in Pakistan. He added that their inspiring words deeply motivated the post-graduates and contributed to making the convocation a memorable milestone in CPSP’s history.
Prof. Khalid Masood Gondal and Prof. Shoaib Shafi, in their addresses, extended best wishes to all graduating fellows, members, and their parents, commending their hard work and dedication as they embark on future endeavours in Pakistan and abroad.
During the event, Dr. Tazeem Hussain met Prof. Ayesha Siddiqa, CPSP Counsellor, who has been elected Regional Trustee of the International Federation of Gynecology and Obstetrics (FIGO). He congratulated her on receiving the prestigious FIGO Women Award.
Dr. Tazeem reaffirmed his commitment to supporting the professional growth of CPSP fellows in Saudi Arabia. He added that he aims to repay Pakistan and CPSP through continued advocacy for postgraduate medical qualifications and by contributing to the excellence of future medical professionals.
