ISLAMABAD: The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Centre (KSrelief) has distributed 470 food baskets in the Burka District of Afghanistan’s Baghlan Province, providing essential support to vulnerable Afghan returnees facing food insecurity.
The distribution is part of KSrelief’s ongoing 2025–2026 food security and emergency assistance program for Afghanistan, aimed at supporting families struggling with shortages amid challenging economic and humanitarian conditions.
KSrelief said the initiative reflects the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s continued commitment to assisting vulnerable communities around the world, with Afghanistan remaining a key focus of its relief efforts.
The food baskets were delivered to families most in need, ensuring immediate access to essential food supplies. The Center reiterated that it will continue implementing humanitarian projects across Afghanistan to help improve living conditions and address urgent needs.
