The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) has intensified its support for vulnerable communities in Afghanistan by distributing 363 food baskets in Samangan Province. The initiative, implemented under the 2025-2026 Food Security and Emergency Project, reached a total of 2,178 individuals, providing critical relief to families facing food insecurity.
This distribution reflects Saudi Arabia’s continued commitment to humanitarian assistance worldwide, targeting populations affected by conflicts, natural disasters, and socio-economic challenges. KSrelief’s projects aim to ensure that essential food supplies reach those most in need, strengthening regional resilience and promoting stability in affected communities.
Officials noted that the program forms part of KSrelief’s broader efforts across Afghanistan to address urgent food shortages, improve nutrition, and support emergency response mechanisms, reaffirming the center’s role as a key player in international humanitarian relief.
