The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) has officially launched its Food Security and Emergency Support Project in Afghanistan for the years 2025–2026, marking another significant step in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s ongoing global humanitarian efforts.

As part of the initiative, 5,000 food baskets have been allocated specifically for Afghan citizens returning from Iran. The project aims to provide critical food support to displaced families as they reintegrate into Afghan society amid ongoing economic and humanitarian challenges.

This latest project reflects Saudi Arabia’s sustained commitment to supporting vulnerable populations through KSrelief, its dedicated humanitarian arm. The initiative is part of the Kingdom’s broader strategy to enhance food security, reduce suffering, and assist affected communities regardless of geographic boundaries.

By launching this targeted food assistance program, the Kingdom continues to play a pioneering role in international relief efforts, demonstrating its dedication to alleviating human suffering and promoting global solidarity.
