The Ministry of Hajj and Umrah, in partnership with the King Abdulaziz Foundation for Research and Archives (Darah), held a media briefing on Friday to announce details of the 5th Hajj Conference and Exhibition 2025, scheduled to take place in Jeddah from November 9 to 12 under the theme “From Makkah to the World.”
The event will cover 18 sectors related to Hajj and Umrah services across a 60,000-square-meter exhibition area, attracting more than 150,000 visitors. It will feature 143 sessions, 225 international speakers, 270 exhibitors, and participation from 2,400 trainees representing institutions from around the globe.
Dr. Ghassan Alnwaimi, spokesperson for the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah, described the conference as an international hub for innovation, collaboration, and knowledge exchange aimed at improving pilgrim services and achieving the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030.
He added that this year’s edition will introduce an “Innovation Zone,” showcasing cutting-edge solutions in artificial intelligence, sustainable technologies, and crowd management systems to enhance pilgrims’ experience and safety.
Darah’s spokesperson, Sultan Al-Awairdi, announced the foundation’s first-ever participation in the event’s scientific and cultural segments. He said that Darah will host a forum on the “History of Hajj and the Two Holy Mosques”, where researchers will present studies highlighting the evolution of Hajj and the impact of technology on its documentation.
Additionally, Darah will organize a special exhibition titled “100 Years of Care for the Two Holy Mosques,” displaying rare historical documents, photographs, and artifacts that reflect the Kingdom’s century-long commitment to the service of pilgrims and preservation of Islamic heritage.
The upcoming Hajj Conference and Exhibition 2025 aims to strengthen Saudi Arabia’s global leadership in pilgrimage management, innovation, and cultural preservation, reaffirming its dedication to enhancing the experience of millions of pilgrims visiting the Two Holy Mosques each year.
